“I just hope I'm doing what my dad wanted me to do.” One of the protagonists of this story, Slade is a calm and reliable young man. He returns to his hometown of Hallfein to uncover the meaning of his father's last wishes. While he is the one who encourages Rias to first use alchemy, he himself lacks the ability to use it. Instead, he possesses a mysterious tool called a "Geist Core," which can open the entrances to dimensional paths that lead to alternate dimensions.
