We would like to inform you of the following issue currently occurring in the game:

Known Issue - 14 November 2025

Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout DX

  • Loading takes a long time under certain conditions.

We are currently investigating this issue and kindly ask for your patience and understanding.

Status

We have found that the following settings can reduce loading times. Please try the steps below if you experience an issue with long load times.

  1. In the in-game options found under Main Menu > Settings > Graphic, set “Frame Rate Limit” to “Unlimited”.
  2. Set the upper limit of your PC's graphics board to 60 FPS.
    Use the following steps for an NVIDIA GPU
    - Right-click on your desktop and select Other Options > Open NVIDIA Control Panel.
    - Under “3D Settings” select the “Maximun Frame Rate” option, switch it to “On”, and set the limit to 60 FPS.

  • Upon reaching “The Panicking Boy: 10” in chapter 4 of the story, skipping the event scene that plays at the Boundary Cathedral will make it impossible to obtain the trophy/achievement “A Lost World”.
  • We plan to update the game so that this trophy/achievement will be obtainable for save data where it was not properly obtained.

Temporary workaround for this bug:

Do not skip the aforementioned event scene.
