“Secret” Series
Introduction
The JRPG Atelier series is based on theme of alchemy.
The “Secret” series is a trilogy of games that has
sold over 2.5 million copies worldwide in total.
The trilogy began with “Atelier Ryza” released in 2019,
followed by the sequel in 2020 and the
end of the journey depicted in 2023.
It was the first time a series of
Atelier games featured the same protagonist.
The story is based on the theme of nostalgic adolescence,
and follows an ordinary girl named Ryza as she meets new friends,
discovers alchemy, and eventually sets off on an adventure to uncover the secrets of her home island.
